Highland Recovery Group specializes in the recovery of displaced assets for individuals, companies (large and small), non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.  We investigate claims in nearly every state and unlike many other similar agencies, we have an on-staff attorney who oversees every step of our processes.  Our legal experience also helps us in our dealings with governmental agencies to ensure that they always comply with the applicable laws regarding your displaced assets.

Our firm regularly reviews public records across the country on a periodic basis in order to keep our data as up to date as possible.  This is incredibly important because many states limit the period of time when displaced assets can be recovered.  For instance, some states allow a two-year time period for recovery.  Then once that time period runs, the assets can become unrecoverable and legally owned by that specific governmental agency.  We work with our legal counsel to secure specific records and, if necessary file appropriate appeals when proper documentation is not provided.

Here at Highland Recovery Group, we know that many individuals cannot afford to pay a retainer or expensive hourly fees that would normally apply to this type of work.  For this reason, we strive to work completely on a contingency-fee basis.   This means that you do not have to pay our fees upfront AND we only get paid if we recover your displaced assets.   This fee arrangement is advantageous for you for two major reasons: 1) you do not have to come up with any money upfront – once our agreement is signed and we have the necessary documentation, we start “working for you” and, 2) it is in our best interest to deliver the highest value possible because that is the only way we get paid.

Once we start working for you, we will also cover all fees associated with the recovery of your assets.  In addition, we handle necessary paperwork including claim forms, affidavits, and necessary correspondence that may be required in the respective jurisdictions.  As always, each client, and each claim, is unique so we encourage you to contact us as soon as your ready and we will be more than happy to answer any and all of your questions.  We look forward to “working for you!”
